

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) IPO, valued at ₹22,569 crore, received a strong response from investors. The issue, which closed on Monday, was subscribed 5.71 times, according to data available on the BSE website. Against the 8.86 crore shares offered, investors placed bids for more than 50.58 crore shares. Qualified Institutional Buyers recorded 12.68 times subscription, while Non-Institutional Investors subscribed 6.55 times and Retail Investors 1.39 times.
The total demand for NSE shares across all investor categories stood at nearly ₹90,300 crore, compared with the issue size of ₹22,569 crore. Based on the retail subscription level, roughly three out of every four retail investors who bid for the issue could potentially receive NSE shares, subject to the final allotment process.
