Tesla Expands Rapidly in India, Fourth Centre Opens in Bengaluru

Global electric vehicle giant Tesla is accelerating its expansion plans in the Indian market. As part of this strategy, the company has opened a new experience centre in Bengaluru. The centre, located at VR Bengaluru on Whitefield Main Road, allows customers to explore Tesla vehicles in person.

This is Tesla’s fourth experience centre in India after Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. Customers visiting the centre can check out the Tesla Model Y and the newly launched Model YL SUV. The facility will also provide after-sales support and customer services.

The new Model YL SUV comes with an 83 kWh battery and supports 250 kW fast charging. Tesla claims the vehicle can cover up to 288 kilometres with just 15 minutes of charging. The company also stated that the SUV offers a driving range of 681 kilometres on a full charge and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just five seconds.
