

The 15th Strategic Electronics Summit 2026 was inaugurated in Bengaluru, highlighting Karnataka’s growing prominence in the global technology landscape. The state has established a strong ecosystem in software, semiconductor design, advanced engineering, and research. Leveraging these strengths, Karnataka is now focusing on expanding its capabilities in strategic electronics, defence manufacturing, and aerospace sectors, contributing significantly to India’s vision of technological self-reliance.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation through progressive policies, world-class infrastructure, skilled talent, and robust industry partnerships. Emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration between government bodies, industry leaders, startups, MSMEs, academia, and the armed forces to accelerate research and enhance manufacturing capabilities. Karnataka aims to continue leading with innovation, creating employment opportunities for youth and contributing to a technologically advanced and secure India.
