Stock Markets End Mixed

Domestic stock markets opened lower this morning but ended the trading session on a mixed note. The Sensex gained 113.61 points, or 0.15%, to close at 78,079.96, while the Nifty declined 40.10 points, or 0.16%, to settle at 24,395.85.

Astral Limited, Netweb Technologies India Limited and Sharda Energy & Minerals Limited emerged as the top gainers. Aditya Infotech Limited, National Aluminium Company Limited and PhysicsWallah Limited were among the stocks that recorded losses.
