According to data from the GoodReturns website, gold prices witnessed a significant rise in the Hyderabad bullion market as of 10:00 AM on Tuesday. The price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) increased to ₹1,58,620, marking a rise of ₹1,200 compared to the previous close. Similarly, the price of 22-carat ornamental gold rose by ₹1,100 to reach ₹1,45,400. Silver prices in the city also saw a sharp increase, rising by around ₹4,000 to touch ₹2.8 lakh per kilogram.
Gold prices showed an upward trend across other major cities as well. In Chennai, the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) stood at ₹1,59,820, while in Delhi it was ₹1,58,770. In Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, the price remained at ₹1,58,620. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold (10 grams) was priced at ₹1,46,500 in Chennai and ₹1,45,550 in Delhi, whereas in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, it stood at ₹1,45,400.
A similar trend was observed in silver prices. In Chennai, silver reached ₹2.8 lakh per kilogram, while in other major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru, it was trading at around ₹2.75 lakh per kilogram. Overall, gold and silver prices are currently on an upward trajectory across the country.
