

Chinese smartphone maker Realme has increased the prices of its Realme 16 series smartphones in India (Realme 16 series price hikes). The company has revised prices of all mid-range variants by ₹1,000 to ₹3,000, effective from today. Realme stated that the price hike is due to increased costs of memory, chipsets, and overall manufacturing expenses. The updated price list was shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X.
The Realme 16 Pro 5G has received a ₹1,000 price hike, while the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G variants have become costlier by ₹2,000 to ₹3,000. Similarly, the Realme 16 5G models have also seen a price increase in the same range. In a separate update, OnePlus has also increased prices of its OnePlus 15R smartphone by up to ₹4,500, marking the second hike in two months. The base variant now costs ₹54,999, while the top variant has reached ₹59,999, reflecting a total increase of up to ₹7,000 since launch.
