New Platform to Curb Money Laundering..

The ‘InPro’ platform has been launched to strengthen Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening and continuous monitoring in India’s Portfolio Management Services (PMS) industry. Developed jointly by KFin Technologies and the Association of Portfolio Managers in India (APMI), the platform was launched by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey at APMI’s third annual conference in Mumbai.

InPro enables continuous monitoring of investor profiles beyond the initial onboarding process. The platform can screen investors against global sanctions lists, Indian debarment lists, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) databases, regulatory watchlists and adverse media sources. It brings AML screening, alert management, case review and audit trails together on a common platform, making technology-enabled compliance infrastructure accessible to PMS firms of different sizes.
