Swiss consumer goods giant Nestlé has announced plans to establish a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. The facility will be set up by Nestlé Business Services India Private Limited (NBSIPL) in partnership with technology and process solutions company Genpact.
The new GCC will leverage Genpact's expertise in process intelligence, data, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation. According to Nestlé, the centre will help standardise, simplify, and scale its business services to improve operational efficiency.
While the company has not disclosed the investment amount or the timeline for the project, it said Hyderabad was chosen because of its strong infrastructure, skilled talent pool, and growing technology ecosystem. The announcement further strengthens Hyderabad's position as a preferred destination for global capability centres.
