Hyderabad is witnessing a rapid rise in high-rise constructions. In 2025, approvals were granted for 94 multi-storey buildings in the HMDA area and 103 in the GHMC limits, nearly double compared to last year.
The built-up area under HMDA expanded to 9.116 million square metres, a sharp increase from 3.65 million square metres in 2024. Experts say the absence of strict FSI regulations is encouraging taller buildings across the city.
With projects reaching up to 63 floors in Kokapet Neopolis and faster clearances through the new “Build Now” software, the construction boom in Hyderabad is gaining strong momentum.
