

HCL Technologies CEO C. Vijayakumar received a total compensation of $18.13 million (around ₹175 crore) during the financial year 2025-26, according to the company’s annual report. His pay package increased by 66.9% compared to the previous fiscal year. Vijayakumar, who is based in the US, receives his remuneration through HCL America Inc., a subsidiary of HCLTech. The significant rise was mainly driven by long-term incentives (LTI) and restricted stock units (RSUs).
Out of his total compensation, Vijayakumar received $3.94 million through LTI and $9.40 million through RSUs. His base salary stood at $2.48 million, performance bonus at $2 million, and other benefits at $310,000. Compared with CEOs of other major Indian IT firms such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, Vijayakumar’s compensation was the highest. His pay was 291.90 times higher than the median salary of HCLTech employees.
