Indian Stock Markets Close Lower

Indian equity markets opened lower on Tuesday and remained in the red throughout the session, closing with losses. The Sensex declined by 325.78 points, or 0.42%, to settle at 76,909.68, while the Nifty fell 76.60 points, or 0.32%, to close at 24,078.30.

Several stocks gained during the session, while others ended lower. ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, Kaynes Technology India and Cyient featured among the top gainers. Netweb Technologies India, CESC and Aequitas Chemicals were among the stocks that recorded losses.
