

South Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor is stepping up its strategy to strengthen its position in the Indian market. The company is aiming for the second spot in the domestic automobile market and plans to accelerate its product expansion. Hyundai will launch two new SUVs and introduce a new electric vehicle, according to company MD and CEO Tarun Garg.
The company also plans to significantly increase its production capacity to meet the growing demand for vehicles in India. Speaking at the annual ACMA meeting, Garg said Hyundai will introduce a new mid-size SUV and an electric SUV in the Indian market during the current festive season. The company expects the new models and increased production capacity to help strengthen its presence in the competitive Indian automobile market.
