Heritage Foods reported strong revenue growth in the first quarter (Q1) of FY2026-27. The company's consolidated revenue rose 18% year on year to ₹1,344.50 crore, compared to ₹1,142 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. However, the company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹24.97 crore, down 38.4% from ₹40.54 crore recorded a year ago.
The decline in profit was mainly due to a 21% increase in operating expenses, which rose to ₹1,310.9 crore. Executive Director Nara Brahmani said higher milk procurement prices and supply shortages impacted the dairy industry. Despite these challenges, the company strengthened its milk procurement network, expanded market share across product categories, and achieved steady growth in value added products.
