Market experts believe that gold and silver prices may witness only limited fluctuations this week. After falling below Rs 1.5 lakh last week due to global uncertainties, gold prices recovered by the weekend. Analysts say upcoming international developments and inflation trends are likely to influence precious metal prices in the coming days.
According to market data on May 11, the price of 24 carat gold in Hyderabad stood at Rs 1,52,340 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 1,39,640. Silver prices in the city remained at Rs 2,79,900 per kilogram. Similar rates were observed in Vijayawada as well.
In other major cities, 24-carat gold prices reached Rs 1,54,360 in Chennai, Rs 1,52,490 in Delhi, and Rs 1,52,340 in Mumbai. Internationally, gold was trading at 4,697 dollars per ounce, while silver stood at 80 dollars per ounce. Experts expect the market to remain sensitive to global economic developments.
Note: Before buying gold, make sure to check today’s price. Track market trends and purchase at the right time.
