

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials and company representatives to complete the Royal Enfield motorcycle manufacturing project in the state within 18 months. During a meeting at the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister assured full support from the government for the project, which is being set up near Tirupati with an investment of Rs.2,500 crore.
Royal Enfield representatives stated that the facility will include an advanced manufacturing unit, a testing track, a research centre, and a vendor park ecosystem. The company aims to produce 9 lakh motorcycles annually through the plant, generating employment opportunities for nearly 15,000 people directly and indirectly. The company also informed the Chief Minister about plans to introduce an electric variant model soon. Chandrababu Naidu later examined Bullet 350 models and posed with the motorcycle wearing a helmet.
