Gold prices witnessed a sharp rise, bringing fresh concerns for buyers and investors. The price of 24 carat gold increased by ₹3,770 per 10 grams, taking it to ₹1,44,550, while 22 carat gold rose by ₹3,450 per 10 grams to reach ₹1,32,500.
Silver prices also remained firm, with the rate in Hyderabad touching ₹2,50,000 per kilogram. The steep increase in precious metal prices is being attributed to strong global demand and prevailing market trends, making gold and silver significantly more expensive.
