Amid continuing geopolitical uncertainties, demand for gold and silver is increasing further. After a sharp rise in prices last week, market experts estimate that prices may continue to move upward this week as well. In the Hyderabad bullion market, the price of 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,48,580 per 10 grams. At the same time, 22-carat gold is trading at ₹1,37,580 per 10 grams. The same prices are reported in the Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam markets (Gold, Silver Prices on Jan 19).
Meanwhile, silver prices in Hyderabad are currently at ₹3,01,000 per kilogram. Similar levels are being observed in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. However, in Mumbai and Delhi, silver is trading at a comparatively lower price of ₹2,94,900 per kilogram. Market circles believe that gold prices still have room to rise further this week. However, experts say silver prices may witness a slight correction, though it is expected to be temporary. Market analysts also opine that the impact of tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump could push gold and silver prices even higher in the coming days.
Note: Gold and silver prices fluctuate frequently based on international market conditions and the dollar exchange rate. It is advisable to check the latest prices before making any purchase or investment decision.
