Gold and silver prices have witnessed another sharp rise in the domestic market. The price of 24-carat gold increased by ₹2,240 per 10 grams, taking the rate to ₹1,58,840. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold saw a hike of ₹2,050 per 10 grams, with prices now standing at ₹1,45,560, reflecting continued bullish momentum in precious metals.
Silver prices also surged significantly. The price of silver jumped by ₹15,000 per kilogram, touching the ₹3 lakh per kg mark. Market experts attribute the rise to global trends, increased demand, and ongoing economic uncertainties, prompting investors to turn towards safe-haven assets.
