Gold and silver prices are hitting new records daily. Geopolitical uncertainties, a weakening rupee, and central bank gold purchases are driving prices higher. In the Hyderabad bullion market on Saturday, both gold and silver prices saw significant jumps.
As of Sunday morning, 24 carat 10 gram gold was priced at Rs. 1,60,260, while 22 carat 10 gram gold reached Rs. 1,46,900. Similar rates were observed in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
Currently, the silver price per kilogram is around Rs. 3,65,000, while in Mumbai and Delhi it is about Rs. 3,35,000. Internationally, 24 carat gold trades at $4,982 per ounce and silver at $103 per ounce. Market experts predict further increases in the coming days.
