

Gold and silver prices declined further in the domestic market, registering a marginal drop compared to the previous day. In the Hyderabad market on Friday, the price of 24-carat pure gold stood at ₹1,58,000 per 10 grams, down by nearly ₹1,600 from Thursday. Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,39,650 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices fell by ₹9,000 per kilogram to settle at ₹2,60,000.
International markets also witnessed a downward trend in precious metal prices. Gold was trading at $4,864 per ounce, while silver was priced at $74 per ounce. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for March delivery declined by 2 percent to trade around ₹2.38 lakh per kilogram. However, gold prices for April delivery edged up slightly, reaching ₹1.52 lakh per 10 grams.
