

According to the Goodreturns website, as of 6:00 a.m. on Friday, the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) in the Hyderabad bullion market stood at ₹1,56,500. This reflects an increase of approximately ₹2,230 compared to the same time yesterday. Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold (10 grams) rose by around ₹2,110 to reach ₹1,43,460. Silver prices in the city also witnessed a significant surge, climbing by ₹10,000 per kilogram. The current price of silver stands at ₹2,70,100 per kg.
Market experts attribute the volatility in trading to the upcoming Federal Reserve monetary policy announcement scheduled for today. Additionally, gold prices are expected to fluctuate in line with the forthcoming release of the United States’ fourth-quarter GDP data.
