Gold and silver prices remained steady across major Indian markets on Sunday after recording strong gains for three consecutive days. International market movements, expectations surrounding US Federal Reserve interest rates and fluctuations in the value of the US dollar have been influencing precious metal prices. However, there was no further movement in domestic gold and silver rates during Sunday’s trading.
In Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, 22-carat jewellery gold was priced at ₹1,49,500 per 10 grams, while 24-carat pure gold stood at ₹1,63,090 per 10 grams. Silver also remained unchanged at ₹2,70,000 per kilogram. In Delhi and Lucknow, 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,50,500 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at ₹1,64,500. Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai recorded rates similar to the major cities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Actual retail prices may vary slightly depending on local taxes, 3% GST and making charges.
