

Gold prices declined sharply in the Indian market due to a fall in international bullion prices and the strengthening of the US dollar. Reports indicating easing tensions in West Asia also boosted global equity and currency markets, leading to a drop in gold and silver prices.
According to the Good Returns website, as of 10:00 AM on Thursday, the price of 24 carat gold in Hyderabad and Vijayawada stood at Rs.1,56,060 per 10 grams. This marks a decrease of Rs.2,230 compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, the price of 22 carat ornamental gold was recorded at Rs.1,43,050 per 10 grams, down by Rs.2,050.
Silver prices also witnessed a significant fall. The price of silver dropped by Rs.10,000 per kilogram. Currently, silver is priced at Rs.2,85,000 per kilogram in Hyderabad and Vijayawada. In Delhi, the price stands at Rs.2,75,000, while Chennai recorded Rs.2,85,000 and Bengaluru Rs.2,75,000 per kilogram.
