Global Companies Drive Hyderabad’s Expansion in IT Jobs and Exports

Hyderabad’s IT sector continues to strengthen its position as a leading technology hub. The city, which already hosts around 10.2 lakh IT professionals, is projected to reach 11 lakh jobs by the end of this year, according to the IT department. The growth is driven by the entry of global companies and large-scale Global Capability Centers expanding their operations in the city.

IT exports are also witnessing strong momentum. Last financial year, Hyderabad recorded exports worth ₹3.13 lakh crore, and this figure is expected to rise to ₹3.6 lakh crore this year. With robust infrastructure and a strong talent pool, global firms continue to choose Hyderabad as a preferred destination for expansion.
