

Fuel prices continue to put pressure on consumers across the Telugu states. Petrol and diesel prices increased by up to ₹3 per litre in May, and reports suggest that international crude oil market trends led to a further increase of around 90 paise. Although many people expected some relief in June, fuel prices have remained high.

CNG prices across various regions currently range between ₹93.50 and ₹97.00 per kilogram. The continued rise in fuel costs is increasing the financial burden on motorists, commuters, and the transport sector.
