Exciting New Feature on JioHotstar

JioHotstar has launched a new in-app food ordering feature for users watching live cricket matches and other streaming content. The platform has partnered with Swiggy to allow viewers to order food without leaving the app. The feature is currently available in more than 690 cities across India.

Designed mainly for mobile users, the integration allows viewers to browse restaurants, access special offers, place orders, and track deliveries while watching matches. The companies revealed that more than 3.7 crore users have already used the feature during the ongoing IPL season. Burgers emerged as the most ordered food item, surpassing biryani. One user reportedly placed 34 orders this season, while another ordered more than 100 burgers at once. Mumbai Indians matches recorded the highest number of food orders.
