World’s richest person Elon Musk has seen his wealth surge by $319.5 billion over the past year. His total net worth, which stood at around $405.6 billion in July 2025, climbed to nearly $725.1 billion by July this year. This translates to an average increase of about $875 million, or roughly ₹8,313 crore, per day. Musk heads Tesla, social media platform X and space company SpaceX. Following the listing of SpaceX shares on June 12, his personal wealth crossed the $1 trillion mark, making him the world’s first trillionaire.

However, Musk’s net worth has been highly volatile in recent days due to fluctuations in SpaceX’s share price. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his wealth stood at around $817 billion by the end of last week. The sharp movements highlight how changes in the valuations of Musk’s companies can significantly impact his overall fortune.
