Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced that the state government will soon launch ‘Ease of Doing Business 2.0’ with the goal of making Telangana a global investment destination. Speaking as the chief guest at the Growth X 2026 summit organized by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) at JRC Convention Centre, Jubilee Hills, he said the new policy will be framed after wide consultations to accelerate industrial growth, provide full confidence to investors, and position Telangana as a role model for other states.
The minister emphasized that growth does not happen by chance and must be scientifically planned for future generations. He reiterated the government’s targets under Telangana Vision 2047 — to expand the state’s economy from the current $200 billion to $1 trillion by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047. Highlighting the CURE–PURE–RARE three-pronged strategy, he said the government aims to drive growth from cities to villages. With emerging technologies like AI and Industry 5.0 reshaping work culture, he noted that ecosystems will matter more than individual companies. Sridhar Babu invited industrialists to partner with the government in building Telangana’s future.
