The ‘Perpetual Capital – Hurun India Impact 50 – 2026’ list has been released, recognizing 50 leading Indian companies that are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The companies were selected based on 17 key parameters, including climate protection, efficient water management, gender equality and other sustainability benchmarks, according to Anas Rahman Junaid, Founder and Chief Researcher of Hurun India.
Among the companies featured in this year’s list are Hyderabad-based Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Divi’s Laboratories. In the 2026 rankings, FMCG major Hindustan Unilever secured the top position, while IT services company HCL Technologies ranked second.
Out of 150 companies evaluated for their overall performance and impact, the final 50 were shortlisted for inclusion in the 2026 list. Collectively, these 50 companies command a market capitalization of approximately $1.8 trillion (around ₹162 lakh crore). Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, they have spent nearly $1 billion (approximately ₹9,000 crore), reflecting their significant contribution toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
