US-based local commerce platform DoorDash has launched a talent hub in Hyderabad, marking the company’s first office in India. The centre was inaugurated on Wednesday by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, DoorDash CFO Ravi Inukonda and Senior Director Jenna Cohenke.
DoorDash has already hired 200 professionals for the new centre and plans to recruit another 300 employees by December, Jenna said. She added that the company aims to increase its total workforce in Hyderabad to 3,000 over the next two years. DoorDash currently employs around 31,500 people globally, she said.
