December 20: Losoong / Sikkim New Year – Holiday in Sikkim
December 22: Losoong Festival Celebrations – Additional holiday in Sikkim
December 24: Christmas Eve – Holiday in Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya
December 25: Christmas – Nationwide holiday
December 27: Christmas celebration holiday in Nagaland; Fourth Saturday – Nationwide holiday
December 30: U Kiang Nangbah Death Anniversary – Holiday in Meghalaya
December 7, 14, 21, 28: Sundays – Nationwide bank holiday
Even though there are 16 holidays in December, online and mobile banking services will remain active as usual. In case of any technical issues, banks will notify customers in advance and resolve them promptly.
