Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased again ahead of the festive season, raising costs for hotels, restaurants and other businesses. The price of a 19-kg cylinder has gone up by around ₹62 in several cities, with the revised rates coming into effect from today. However, prices of domestic LPG cylinders used by households remain unchanged.
In Delhi, the commercial cylinder price increased by ₹62.50 to ₹2,747.50, while Mumbai saw a ₹63 hike, taking the price to ₹2,764. In Chennai, the price of a 19.2-kg commercial cylinder is now ₹2,916.50. In Hyderabad, the price rose by ₹69 to ₹3,065. Commercial LPG prices are revised by oil marketing companies based on factors including international LPG prices and foreign exchange rates, while domestic LPG prices continue to be regulated to limit the burden on households.
