Ather has launched its new electric scooter, the Konark, in India. Available in S and Z variants, the scooter starts at ₹1 lakh. The S variant is offered with 2.1kWh, 2.7kWh and 3.5kWh battery options, delivering claimed IDC ranges of 100km, 125km and 161km respectively. All variants have a claimed top speed of 70kmph.
The Konark comes with 31 litres of storage, a USB Type-C port, under-seat lighting, multiple display options, park assist, reverse mode and auto-hold. The Z variant adds features such as AEBS, Magic Key, app-based locking and unlocking, Google Maps, WhatsApp, theft alerts, ride statistics, Find My Scooter, charging monitoring and OTA updates. Ather has also announced plans for another S variant offering a claimed 200km range.
