

Apollo Hospitals has taken another significant step in expanding its business operations. The company’s subsidiary, Imperial Hospital and Research Centre Limited (IHRCL), has acquired Bengaluru-based Bellness Champion Hospitals Private Limited. The total deal value, including assets and liabilities, stands at ₹165 crore. Currently operating with a capacity of 125 beds, the hospital will be expanded to 175 beds by June this year, according to Apollo Hospitals.
On the financial front, Apollo Hospitals reported a consolidated net profit of ₹502 crore on revenues of ₹6,477.4 crore for the third quarter ended December. Compared to the same period last financial year, revenue increased by 17 percent, while net profit rose by 35 percent. The company’s board has recommended an interim dividend of ₹10 per share for shareholders and has fixed the 16th of this month as the record date.
