Amazon Great Republic Day Sale Begins from January 16

India’s leading e-commerce giant Amazon is gearing up for another major sale. While Flipkart has already announced its sale dates, Amazon has now officially revealed its “Great Republic Day Sale 2026,” scheduled to begin from January 16. As part of this sale, Amazon has announced that customers will receive up to 10% instant discount on SBI credit card and EMI transactions. The company also stated that complete deal details will be disclosed soon.

The sale will feature heavy discounts on a wide range of products including smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, PCs, gaming consoles, smart glasses, washing machines, projectors, smart TVs and other electronic appliances. Meanwhile, Flipkart is set to launch its sale on January 17. Flipkart Plus and Black members will get exclusive early access 24 hours in advance. With both platforms rolling out their mega sales, a fierce competition between Amazon and Flipkart is expected once again during this festive season.
