Bharti Airtel has introduced three prepaid recharge plans priced at ₹185, ₹203 and ₹206 for customers who primarily need voice calls and SMS services rather than mobile data. The plans offer unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, along with 300 SMS messages. According to the provided details, the ₹185 plan comes with 28 days of validity, while the ₹203 plan is valid for 30 days. The ₹206 plan offers calendar-month validity, making it an option for customers who prefer monthly recharges aligned with the calendar.
None of the three plans includes mobile data benefits, but complimentary Hello Tunes are included. The plans are aimed at feature-phone users, senior citizens, secondary-SIM users and customers who rely on Wi-Fi for internet access. The move aligns with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's push for voice-and-SMS-only recharge options so customers do not have to pay for data they do not use. Customers can check availability and applicable terms through Airtel's official website or mobile app.
