Adani Defence to Supply AK-203 Ammunition

Adani Defence has signed an agreement with Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL) to supply 7.62x39mm ammunition for AK-203 rifles manufactured in India for a period of five years. The ammunition will be produced domestically at Adani Defence’s facility in Kanpur and supplied for the rifles being manufactured in the country.

IRRPL was established in 2019 following an agreement between India and Russia to manufacture AK-203 rifles in India. The rifles are being produced at the facility in Korwa, Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh. A total of 6.01 lakh AK-203 rifles are planned to be manufactured at the facility.
